Iphone only available on Autumn

While increasing numbers of reports are pointing to a later-than-usual introduction for the fifth-generation iPhone, potentially with an unveiling at Apple's traditional September iPod-focused event, some observers have still been holding out hope that Apple will launch the new device at its Worldwide Developers Conference in early June as it has done on a regular basis in recent years.

One MacRumors reader has, however, received word from an AT&T customer care representative that Apple has officially informed the carrier that there will be no new iPhone released in the usual June-July timeframe.

The disclosure came after the reader noticed that his eligibility date for a subsidized upgrade had been pushed back by over five months and contacted AT&T to inquire about the reason for the change. As part of a response outlining AT&T's criteria for determining upgrade eligibility dates, the agent reportedly offered the following statement as fact:

Apple has informed us that they do not plan to release the iPhone in the June to July timeframe, though there will be a newer version in the future. Unfortunately, we have not been given a release time for the new phone. We will release this information on our website when it is available to us.

We are always skeptical about such information shared by customer-facing representatives of Apple or associated companies, as those employees are essentially never provided with that level of information ahead of any official announcement. We feel, however, that due to the specific nature of the claim and its presentation in a matter-of-fact manner expressly citing Apple as the source of the information, the tidbit is worth sharing.

Iphone 5 launch on June? 六月推出？

We already know that Apple is not going to announce the iPhone 5 at Worldwide Developers Conference 2011 which starts from June 6, 2011. Instead, WWDC is going to be more geared towards the software side of things, and will offer previews of iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion. The reason because of which the iPhone 5 isn’t being announced at WWDC, may probably be because Sony is facing delays in getting new iPhone 5 camera modules to Apple. That’s just a speculation, however. Nevertheless, you’re not in luck if you want to attend the conference any way, as WWDC 2011 has sold out.

The reports claims of a confirmed iPhone 5 release in late June, because of the fact that carriers SK Telecom and KT will be among the new carriers to officially offer the iPhone 5.

??iPhone 5,?? the next model of iPhone 4, will be released on the coming 4th week of June. In the midst of the iPhone 5 postponement rumors, Apple has confirmed that iPhone 5 will be released as planned and it will be released simultaneously in Korea through SK Telecom and KT.

So iPhone 5 release won’t happen at WWDC 2011, rather Apple is going to hold a special media event that will be hosted by none other than Apple CEO Steve Jobs as well, who currently happens to be on a medical leave of absence from the company, but made a brief appearance at the iPad 2 launch event earlier last month.

The legitimacy of this source is a bit doubtful, primarily because of the fact that a July iPhone 5 release contradicts the fall timeframe of the iPhone release.

So when is the iPhone 5 really coming out? That, time will tell.

No word about diesel yet from an official source as of now – we’ll update you if we receive any news, but Malaysiakini (who were allegedly invited then barred from participating) claims diesel is up 5 sen to RM1.90, LPG up 5 sen to RM1.90 per kg, and sugar up 20 sen to RM2.10 per kg.

加利福尼亞州的聖何塞有著一座溫切斯特神秘屋，總是怪事重重。1884年，一個名叫莎拉·溫切斯特的寡婦開始建造一座富麗堂皇的豪宅。然而不知是何原因，該豪宅直到莎拉死後才竣工，耗時長達38年。建成後這個大宅總是發生無法解釋的怪事，因此被人們稱作溫切斯特神秘屋。豪宅有160個房間，配有現代化的供熱係統、排水係統、煤氣燈、3部升降機和47個壁爐。還有嵌在地板上的窗戶，樓梯不知通向何處；一扇門打開，卻只有一堵空白的墻。有傳聞稱，莎拉和其他受盡折磨的靈魂仍然在這些房間中遊走。

8. 蘇格蘭愛丁堡的瑪麗金街


這條鵝卵石鋪成的狹窄小街，在1645年瘟疫蔓延到愛丁堡時被徹底封鎖。傳說有些染了瘟疫的家庭被用磚頭封門，這些人被活活被餓死。2003年，這條小街重新開放，成為旅遊景點。因傳聞鬧鬼，所以沒人那願意在那居住，顯得有些荒涼。前來觀光的遊客表示，走在這條街道上時，總感覺到胳膊和腿碰到了什麼東西。當地人稱，這可能是一個名叫安妮的女孩的鬼魂。
